Hi, my name is Deb Freeman and I have the good fortune to be teaching fifth grade at Westside School .
This is a wonderful school where the students, parents, and staff make it a great place to be!
I came to Westside after teaching at Greenwood in fifth grade for 20 years and fourth grade for one year.
I love this school district because the community supports what we do and the students come prepared to learn thanks to our supportive parents. The staff is very dedicated in all that we do!
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Stevens Point and I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling from UWRF.
My husband, Steve, and I live here in River Falls. He is the men’s head hockey coach at UW-RF, so needless to say I am quite a fan. I make as many games as possible and hope to see lots of you there, as well. I also enjoy running and try to run several days a week. I have run the River Falls Days 10K for many years. I enjoy gardening as well. You may have seen me down on the Second Street gardens with my friend Marcia, a fifth grade teacher at Greenwood, tending to all the flowers. It really brings me a lot of joy to garden.
I am excited to be here at Westside. It is a great place to be!
