AREAS OF EMPHASIS

Technology - All students are required to take 1 credit of technology classes to keep them up to date on the demands of the workplace.
College & Career Exploration & Preparation - All students take coursework in employability skills and participate in post-secondary campus visits.
Job Readiness - Students have the opportunity to participate in credit-based work experience, service learning activities, youth apprenticeship, and tours of local businesses.

GOVERNANCE

The Renaissance Academy is chartered by the School District of River Falls. Thus, it operates as an independent unit of the school district, as do each of the other schools within the district. However, close ties with the River Falls High School are maintained at all times. All students have the option of taking courses at the high school during the first block.
