The Buildings & Grounds Department is responsible for over 800,000 square feet of schools and support facilities. Our 10 separate facilities are located on over 160 acres of land.
We strive to ensure a clean and safe learning environment, so the School District of River Falls can continue the tradition of offering our community a place where we provide our future - the students - with a world-class education. We do all of this while remaining both fiscally and energy conscious for our community members.
Our department continuously strives to streamline the systems we have in place, and/or adopt proven technologies to lower our energy footprint on the environment.
Our responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and cleaning of buildings
- Maintenance and landscaping of grounds
- Capital project planning
- Remodeling and renovation of buildings through construction projects
