WEBSITE & DIGITAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Visit the district webpage at www.rfsd.k12.wi.us for important district announcements. Each school’s landing page also features information and announcements specific to that school.
Infinite Campus
Infinite Campus (IC) is a Student Information System (SIS) that helps school districts manage student data. For our middle and high school students, this software provides real-time access to grades, assignments, attendance, schedules, announcements and more.
All district families use IC to provide annual student information (verify student and household information). Infinite Campus is also used by the district to send phone, email, and text messages to students, staff, and families throughout the year, including communicating with families for urgent and emergency matters (i.e. school closings, safety updates). To opt-in, do the following in Infinite Campus:
Select Student
- Select "Census" (in the left column)
- Select "Demographics" (under People)
- Scroll down to section "Personal Contact Information"
- Select the preferred contact preferences after you ensure the primary email and phone number are entered.
- Select the blue "Save" button at the top to have your preferences saved.
The District utilizes a text message option to communicate with families through our Infinite Campus service for urgent and emergency matters (i.e.: school closings, safety updates). It is important to verify your communication preferences in your IC account.
NEWSLETTERS
Community eNewsletter - Our monthly electronic newsletter is sent via Constant Contact to all district families, staff, and subscribed community members. Parents are automatically signed up to receive this newsletter. Subscribe or view past eNewsletters on this page.
School Newsletters - Each school sends out a newsletter containing important information for parents. The frequency varies by school. The newsletter is created in a software called Smore, and is emailed to parents and guardians and posted on the school’s website. If translation is needed, recipients can choose a translation language directly from the newsletter screen.
Annual Printed Newsletter - This printed newsletter is sent to all River Falls community members 1-2 times a year to keep the community informed of district news.

Stay connected with the district on social media and celebrate our students, staff, and district onFacebook and Instagram. Some schools may have their own social media accounts.. School Board meetings are live-streamed and archived on our YouTube channel.

OTHER
SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT allows students, school staff, community members and law enforcement to confidentially report tips on potential harm or criminal activities directed at school students, school employees, and schools.
